We passed court this afternoon, and are THRILLED to be able to introduce you to our daughter:

YORDANOS ("Yordi") WILLIAMS

We are so blessed to now be Yordi's legal parents in the eyes of Ethiopia, and can not wait to bring her home!

February 18: Sent off for Birth Certificates March 1: First Face-To-Face Meeting with Coordinator March 1: Home Study Meeting #1 March 1: Recieved Marriage Certificates March 1: Completed Police Clearance #1 March 3: Fingerprint Appointment March 5: Home Study Meeting #2 (first home visit) March 5: Found out we didn't need fingerprinting after all :-) March 6 - 7: Announced the adoption to our families March 11: Home Study Meeting #3 (Krista's individual) March 15: Home Study Meeting #4 (Mike's individual) March 15: Completed Police Clearance #2 March 16: Physicals for Medical Letter April 8: APPROVED HOME STUDY!! April 12: USCIS forms mailed May 11: USCIS Fingerprints complete May 14: Final Vaccinations May 19: USCIS APPROVAL!! May 21: Cover letter authentication (MI) May 22: POA's & Homestudy authenticated (IN) June 14: POA's authenticated (again) June 14: Dossier sent to D.C. for authentication June 19: Dossier returned from DC (copy incident!) June 21: Dossier resubmitted to Washington D.C. June 24: Dossier returned from Washington D.C. June 24: DOSSIER SUBMITTED!!!!!!!!!!!!! July 9: Dossier to Ethiopa (D.T.E.) March 2: REFERRAL! Little Boy "B" - 5 months old April 4: Submitted to court June 2: Fly to Ethiopia June 7: COURT DATE! July 13: EMBASSY - Our adoption is complete! July 16: Kad's forever home!
